The CP valve is the latest innovation among the valves. Fields of application include the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical industries, the medical field, the energy sector as well as the electronics industry. The aerodynamically profiled valve plate of the CP valve relies on carbon fiber-reinforced plastic materials from research. It assures low maintenance costs and a long service life. The CP valve is suitable for compressor speeds up to 1800 rpm and is offered in diameters ranging from 79 to 212 mm (3.11 to 8.35 inches). The valve lift is between a minimum of 1 mm (0.04 inch) and a maximum of 2.5 mm (0.1 inch); idle control and continuous control are possible. A wide operating range from -200 to +210ºC (-328 to +410ºF) at a maximum pressure of 50 bar and a differential pressure of 30 bar allow virtually unlimited use. The economic efficiency of the system is increased by low losses of pressure and low use of primary energy. Energy savings of up to 9 percent over competitive products is possible.
